Zia Lucia to open 6th site in Balham next month

London’s well-loved independent pizzeria Zia Lucia, is set to bring its famous 4 doughs to a brand new site in Balham, opening on Thursday 9 December 2021.

Having first opened in Islington in 2016 and going on to open sites in Wembley, Wandsworth, Islington, Hammersmith and Aldgate East, Zia Lucia are excited to launch their sixth site situated at 65 Balham High Road.

To celebrate the launch, founders Claudio Vescovo and Gianluca D’Angelo are offering 50% off all pizzas for the first week from 9 - 15 December.

At the forefront of London’s pizza renaissance, Zia Lucia’s first independent pizzeria on Holloway Road brought unusual doughs, delectable toppings and Italian community flair to North London and has been a huge hit with locals and visitors ever since.

Since its humble inception, Zia Lucia has become renowned for its impressive selection of 48-hour slow-fermented doughs, including traditional white flour, wholemeal, gluten free and vegetable charcoal black base.

Maintaining its philosophy of great value genuine Italian food, all pizzas at Zia Lucia Balham are priced from £7-£13 and will feature fresh, classic Italian toppings, signature Arianna and Andrea Pirlo pizzas, and are available on all four types of dough.

Toppings range from irresistible Italian favourites such as fiery nduja, spicy spianata salami, truffle sauce, honey, burrata, rich blue cheese gorgonzola and roasted pepperoni. The menu will also feature seasonal specials and vegan pizzas.

Alongside the pizzas is a selection of Italian-style starters, plates and desserts with the drinks menu focusing on their beer brand Birra Cabriole’, Italian style cocktails including Campari and Aperol Spritz as well as wine and prosecco sourced from a small Italian producer back home.
