Advocate Group buys lease for hospitality venue by River Humber

North Lincolnshire-based Advocate Group has acquired the lease for The Country Park Inn, a successful bar, restaurant and events venue with bedrooms, located on the banks of the River Humber in Hessle, Yorkshire.

Nestled on a 2.2 acre site beneath the Humber Bridge, with fantastic views over the estuary, The Country Park Inn offers a picturesque backdrop for drinking, dining and hosting events, making it a popular spot for weddings.

Since being acquired by the previous owners, seven years ago, the business has undergone a number of significant renovations and refurbishments and has built a coveted reputation within the Yorkshire region as a result.

Needing to focus on other business interests, the previous owners decided to seek a new tenant for the business with the help of Christie & Co’s hospitality experts, creating an excellent opportunity for an incoming operator.

New leaseholder, Advocate Group currently operates an estate of 30 pubs across the UK and boasts extensive experience in the hospitality sector. The firm plans to build on The Country Park Inn's excellent reputation and establish a schedule of year-round events, whilst also maintaining the quality food and beverage offering.

David Lee, Regional Hospitality Director at Christie & Co secured the new lease and commented, “We are delighted to have secured a quality tenant for The Country Park Inn. The venue enjoys a fantastic position on the banks of the River Humber and is well-known within the region, so there were a number of parties interested in taking on the lease.

'Paul and Darren from Advocate Group were the successful party and will no doubt help grow this excellent business further.'
