Fullers opens central Birmingham pub with new name & fresh look

The Roebuck, Birmingham has opened with a new name and look. Formerly The Utopia, The Roebuck has introduced craft beer and cask ales to the range, alongside a new menu of pub classics and Chef's signatures

Located on Church Street, in the heart of Birmingham’s bustling business district, The Roebuck is a modern space inside a characterful historic building that’s ideal for working lunches, relaxed meetings, or simply unwinding after work.

The pub is close to the famous Bullring Shopping Centre and bustling Great Western Arcade, ensuring regular trade.

Designed to reflect the city’s proud industrial heritage, and dating back to 1867, the refurbished pub offers spacious seating ideal for spreading out, comfy sofas made for lounging, and a handful of outside tables ready for when the sun comes out.

As a Fuller’s pub, The Roebuck boasts great range of drinks behind the bar - from cask ales to refreshing cocktails and premium spirits for you to enjoy, plus a carefully curated list of wines from around the world.

The choice of beer is endless - from perfectly poured craft beer both on draught and in cans and bottles, including premium lagers and IPAs and conditioned cask ales, which of course, includes Fuller’s iconic London Pride.

For non-drinkers, there is a wide choice of soft drinks, from the classic to the artisan.

The Roebuck’s food menu has got something for everyone, from tasty light bites and hearty pub classics, and all the ingredient suppliers are hand-picked for quality.

Alongside the traditional dishes, such as fish and chips, steaks and burgers, the Chef’s Signature dishes and seasonal choices are changed monthly, so there’s always something new on the menu.

For an easy lunch after exploring Birmingham city centre, guests might want to try one of the chunky club sandwiches, or a platter of tasty nibbles made for sharing – topped off by an indulgent dessert.

The Roebuck also offers a semi-private bar area for parties, dinner, work meetings or just for a few drinks.

The pub’s central location in the business district close to Snow Hill railway station, some fantastic shopping options, the Jewellery Quarter and Birmingham’s canals, make it the perfect meeting point, lunch spot, or place to unwind over dinner at the end of the day.
