As it continues to enjoy success at its Flat Iron Square site in London SE1, La Nonna is set to open its first permanent restaurant serving up all things Italian.
Set to launch this Wednesday in Brixton Village, chef Daniele Pino will be serving up his own modern takes on his family's favourite pasta dishes, each topped with a sprinkle of Pecorino or Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.
Situated in Brixton's Market Row, La Nonna will be serving its popular authentic artisan-crafted fresh pasta dishes of Roman Carbonara, Cacio e Pepe and Creamy Mushroom and Truffle, alongside new daily-changing dishes.
The pasta at La Nonna is made daily using Zero zero flour, the gold standard for Italian cooking, and is combined with egg, water and salt to create unbeatable fresh pasta dishes.
There are also Piadinas, rustic Italian flatbreads - the Chicken Milanese is filled with breaded chicken, melted mozzarella, parmesan, spicy arrabbiata sauce and mixed salad.?
To marry with the dishes, diners can enjoy popular Italian aperitifs, wine and a whole mix of Italian-approved cocktails and beers.
For desserts there's tiramisu using a traditional recipe, and Nutella Mini Donuts served with a warm and glossy chocolate sauce.
For those wanting to take home a taste of La Nonna, the brand has its own DIY fresh pasta kits alongside guanciale, Pecorino Romano DOP, Parmigiano-Reggiano, and other Italian cheeses and cured meats.
