Restaurant Kits joins forces with GBBO star to launch dessert range

Leading online meal kits platform, Restaurant Kits, has joined forces with 2016 Great British Bake Off winner, Candice Brown, to launch its first range of desserts, now available to purchase as add-ons alongside any kit from the site, or together as the ultimate dessert box.

The line-up of puddings, sold exclusively via Restaurant Kits, features a selection of Candice’s best recipes - from her ‘Everything Cookie’ to a Blackberry & Apple Fool.

First up in the line up is Candice’s ‘Everything Cookie’, packed with Biscoff biscuits, marshmallow, pistachios and dried cherries (£7.50 for two people), followed by the Rocky Road Hybrid - which, in Candice’s words, is ‘‘the best thing to come out of my head”. The rocky road features two tiers of chocolate brownie with chocolate chunks, cherries, pistachios and marshmallows, topped with a layer of Rice Krispies (£9 for two people).

Finishing with a classic, Candice’s construct-yourself Blackberry & Apple Fool sees layers of cream and berry compote, pistachio crumb, fresh blackberries and an apple crisp combined for a unique twist on this iconic British dessert (£12 for two people).

For the first time ever, Restaurant Kits’ customers will be able to create a bespoke menu for themselves, with dishes made by some of the UK’s leading chefs. A huge selection of kits are available for the main course - whether that’s curry from Kricket, a gourmet meal from Adam Handling or ramen from Supa Ya - followed by a choice of three puddings made by dessert expert, Candice Brown, for an after dinner treat.

On the collaboration, Brown noted, “I cannot believe I have my very own ‘Candice shop’ with Restaurant Kits. For me, it’s all about pudding and no meal is complete without one. These puddings are some of my favourites from my most recent book, Happy Cooking - I am beyond excited to share these and can guarantee customers will be coming back for more.”

Ed Alun-Jones, CEO of Restaurant Kits, said, “For our desserts, we wanted to partner with the best and we are delighted to welcome the queen of baking, Candice Brown, to the Restaurant Kits family.”
