Al Dente set open new dine-in restaurant next month

Authentic handmade pasta restaurant brand, Al Dente is to open a new dine-in restaurant in London's Monument Square mid-October.

The new dine-in location will join the already open Goodge Street eatery, as well as a myriad of dark kitchens across London. Here, they will offer authentic handmade Italian pasta to hungry Londoners in the heart of the city.

At just 50 square metres, Al Dente Monument will offer 12 covers for an intimate and casual dine in experience, as well as a further 12 al fresco terraced seating to enjoy every sunny moment in the city.

Built on the ideals of fresh ingredients, and fresh pasta made daily, Al Dente provides a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of London, and instead transports its guests to a Mediterranean getaway.

The intimate nature to this new location provides the perfect spot to escape the world for an hour or two, and concentrate on the flavour, and quality of the hand-made dishes. The terraced eating area continues the casual Italian feel, as guests are welcome to enjoy an Aperitivo in the sunshine, and catch up with loved ones.

Offering Italian pasta dishes, done properly, Al Dente’s brand-new Monument location will offer fan favourites such as the classic Carbonara, with its vivid yellow colour created using a sauce of rich egg yolks and pecorino, coating the Spaghettoni, and finished with the traditional guanciale.

Other classics include the freshly prepared Fusilli al Pesto, and the indulgent Gnocchi ai Quattro Formaggi, with each potato dumpling lathered in taleggio, gorgonzola, parmesan, and pecorino.

Or sample the house dish, Ravioli Al Dente, where every ravioli is infused with spinach, and filled with a sweet and savoury ricotta, mushroom, and truffle fondue.

To celebrate the opening, Al Dente will be offering 50% off all pasta dishes when dining in the new restaurant for the first 3 days after Monument opens its doors. Following this, customers are can also receive 25% off for a further week, to sample the authentic al dente taste of Italian pasta.

Owner Filippo Gallenzi said, We are so excited to bring our traditional hand crafted pasta to Monument, and expand our family. We will never compromise on flavour, or quality, and will continue to hand make all of our pastas for this new location, to bring both the flavours and cultural traditions to a brand new location.

'We are especially looking forward to the flexibility that this new location offers, allowing us to focus both on feeding hungry office workers a quick, and satisfying lunch, as well as inviting guests to indulge in an afternoon aperitivo on our terraced seating and intimate in door tables.'
