New bar with South American eats opens in West London

A new destination bar, NBHD (Neighbourhood) has just opened the heart of West London's Ladbroke Grove. It's situated a stone’s throw from the vibrant Portobello and Golborne Road, renowned for its bustling market.

The bar serves hand crafted cocktails and South American inspired sharing plates. Evenings at NBHD will see the lights dimmed and music turned up as cocktails take centre stage with Watermelon Daiquiri’s, Balsazar Rose Spritz’s and Strawberry & Jalapeno Margarita’s expertly mixed by the team.

Inspired by the flavours of South America and designed to share, guests can expect to see small plates of Tuna & guacamole, and Beef tartare & cured egg yolk tostadas, Mushroom & garlic confit croquetas, Gluten-free, sticky sesame, and Coriander Korean-style chicken wings - all finding their way to expectant tables well into the night.

Born out of the pandemic and designed to bring local friends, old and new, together again in a dynamic setting, NBHD is ideal for those looking to while away the hours either inside at the electric yellow raised bar or al fresco for sundowners in the intimate front garden and leafy terrace, transporting guests to sunnier climes.

Co-founder Oliver Stanley said, “For us, like many, we came to know (and actually like!) our neighbours over the past 14 months due to lockdown, so we see NBHD as the place where you can reconnect with your local area and community.

'We want people to be able to reminisce or make new memories here, over one too many drinks and a plate of tacos, there’s that sense of familiarity, almost like a home away from home.”
