Bewiched enters drive-thru market with first indie site

Bewiched has entered the drive-thru market with a new venture at Moulton Park industrial estate, near the village of Moulton, and believe this to be the UK’s first independent drive-thru.

the Northamptonshire coffee chain has opened the purpose-built premises in Darnell Way, which includes 55 indoor seats, plus drive-thru technology with an order point, an integrated headphone system and car timing loops.

Founded by Matt Fountain ten years ago, the company now has 13 outlets across the county, and serves 18,000 customers per week, preparing half a million cups of coffee every year.

If this new drive-thru is a success, Fountain plans to open sites in Milton Keynes and Rugby in the coming months.
