Oblix at The Shard launches finish-at-home dishes for nationwide delivery


London restaurant, Oblix at The Shard has today announced that, for the first time, customers nationwide can now experience Oblix with a selection of their dishes available to be delivered to be finished at home.

Perfected by executive chef Marcus Eaves, fans across the country can now purchase hearty and warming dishes, prepared to restaurant standards and just needing to be finished at home.

Choices will rotate seasonally and run across all three courses, with something for everyone.

To start, will be Burrata with datterini tomatoes, olives, basil & balsamic vinegar whilst mains will include the likes of the Oblix wagyu burger with aged-cheddar & truffle mayonnaise, Glazed and slow-cooked short ribs, with salsa verde or Veal osso bucco with saffron risotto and gremolata.

Perfect for sharing will be the Whole roast chicken which comes complete with Truffle mashed potatoes, Roasted vegetables and chicken and rosemary sauce or the Wagyu beef wellington with red wine sauce, serving 2 people and delivered complete with a temperature probe to ensure quality remains just as high at home.

A range of stand-alone sides to include four cheese Macaroni & cheese, Truffle and parmesan fries and Truffle mashed potatoes, can also be purchased. For pudding, Marcus has created a Chocolate, caramel and almond fondant with a Madagascan vanilla custard.

Customers can order the dishes to be delivered to their homes from Oblix’s website.

This range of cook-at-home meals joins Oblix’s popular Afternoon Tea delivery experience which can be delivered within London, and includes a range of luxurious sandwiches, alongside handmade sweet treats and pastries, a variety of freshly baked scones and spreads as well as a selection of teas sourced from The Rare Tea Company.
