Dudley hotel changes hands after 24 years of same ownership

Station Hotel in Dudley, West Midlands, has been sold through Knight Frank for an undisclosed price.

The 38 en suite bedroom Station Hotel, which dates back to 1936, houses three conference rooms and a ballroom with capacity for 200 people, as well as a public bar and restaurant.

The hotel has been under the same ownership for 24 years and has been closed throughout the pandemic. The former owners posted a message om Facebook:

'It is with a heavy heart Helen, Chris and our amazing team have to announce that The Station Hotel has been sold and now ceased trading. At this sad time we would like to thank all our valued customers over the years, whatever the occasion it has been a great honour to welcome all of you. Thank you once again for your support and stay safe.'

The hotel sits less than a mile from the town centre and opposite popular attractions Dudley Zoo and Castle. It's in close proximity to major cities and transport links, being only 9 miles from Birmingham and a short drive from the M5 motorway.
