Chichester Gate Leisure Park in Chichester, West Sussex, is to welcome global burger chain, Five Guys, and soft play operator, Jungle Mania.
Five Guys has agreed a deal which will see it open a new 3,500 sq ft site on a 15 year lease within the former Frankie & Benny’s unit. The fast food and casual dining restaurant will be the first site for Five Guys in the Chichester area and is set to open imminently.
In addition, Jungle Mania has acquired a new 6,500 sq ft unit, taking the former JD Wetherspoon site, also on a 15 year lease. The deal marks the fifth site for the soft play operator, with four existing units throughout the south, and is due to open this summer. The sites offer Tree Top Cafes and offer party options.
Chichester Gate is the area’s largest leisure park, offering a complete entertainment and leisure experience with existing tenants including Cineworld, Tenpin bowling, Premier Inn and McDonald’s. Located to the south of the city, the scheme is situated just off the A27 and offers 400 car parking spaces.
Aberdeen Standard Investments, represented jointly by international real estate advisor Savills and EJ Hales, completed the two new lettings.
Carlene Hughes, head of UK leisure at Savills, commented, “In spite of the challenges of the past 12 months, we continue to see a range of operators remaining acquisitive within the leisure sector. These two new lettings at Chichester Gate are testament to the strength and viability of the park and will further enhance the diverse tenant mix.”
