Following the recent success of the Petersham Nurseries Café four course dinner boxes, its vibrant Italian sister restaurant in London's Covent Garden, La Goccia, will be firing up the wood fired oven to offer two alternative meal kits.
The new dine at home boxes will transport the spirited menu of La Goccia Covent Garden into kitchens and dining tables across the country, with a selection of seasonal Italian feasting dishes and hand rolled pastas to share.
Available to order from Friday 19th February, for London and nationwide delivery, each box serves two people and includes clear and simple instructions on how to create the dishes in the comfort of diners’ own homes.
Taking cues from the convivial style of eating enjoyed in the restaurant, the La Goccia boxes revolve around quality produce that allow the ingredients to shine. The debut March menu begins with dishes of burrata with squash agrodolce; cauliflower with sundried tomato aioli and pear and pecorino toscano.
Next, a hearty bowl of fresh, hand rolled rigatoni with slow cooked beef ragù or a vegetarian option of fresh spaghetti with wild mushrooms, designed to be brought to the table to share.
To follow, mains of wood fired chicken al burro from the family farm in Devon, Haye Farm, or leek gratinato and side dishes to accompany feature potatoes al forno with garlic and rosemary and borlotti beans with cavolo nero. Ending on a sweet note, a classic Italian tiramisu for two completes the menu.
Following the success of La Goccia’s pasta making workshops last year, they will also be launching a pasta meal kit later in March, so guests can replicate the masterclass experience at home.

La Goccia meal kits are available for nationwide delivery in exclusive partnership with Restokit, priced at £90, with the vegetarian box at £80. The first available delivery date is on Saturday 27th February.
