Brakes strengthens one-stop-shop offer with 600 new lines

Brakes, the UK’s leading foodservice supplier, is strengthening its ‘one-stop-shop’ proposition by adding over 600 new pieces of light equipment to its front of house and back of house portfolios.

The new offer gives caterers the opportunity to save time, money, and effort by consolidating their order to include everything they need to prepare and serve the great food that they already buy from Brakes.

Customers can simply add whatever light equipment they need to their usual Brakes food and drink order and receive it as part of their next regular delivery - one order, one delivery, one invoice. And there's no minimum order value.

Mandy Van Hagen, Brakes Marketing Sector Manager, said, ‘Cutting down the number of orders that need to be placed, processed, and received, saves caterers valuable time and money and helps to make them more efficient.

‘Furthermore, we know from previous experience that when hospitality venues re-open after a lockdown they are obviously looking to keep staff and customers as safe as possible and consolidating their food and light equipment order so that they have fewer delivery drivers coming to the kitchen door is a big help in this respect.

'As in the past, we will be ready with everything that caterers need when they re-open – whether that is food or equipment – and all at the best possible price.’

The new light equipment products, which will take the Brakes range in this category to over 800 items, include essential items from food preparation to storage solutions, table service to buffet displays, chefswear to janitorial lines, and much, much more. And now, rather than hunting online or taking time out to visit a local wholesaler, they can simply add what they need to their regular Brakes order.

Customers can now access the new items online where, along with comprehensive details on each of the products, they will also find information on promotions, as well as instructions on how they can contact Brakes’ in-house team of catering equipment specialists for any additional advice or product support.
