Longmartin Properties Ltd, a joint venture between Shaftesbury and the Mercers’ Company, has announced that new artisan bakery, Arôme will remain open for takeaway services from its first permanent bricks and mortar site within The Yards in London's Covent Garden.
Arôme’s new 2,000 sq ft bakery, located at 9 Mercer Street, The Yards, officially opened in early December. In line with government guidelines, the bakery continues to welcome customers to explore its takeaway menu, which has been built upon by using traditional French baking techniques and recipes with a unique balance of Asian influenced ingredients.
The team has tied up with online business channel, Slerp, to provide consumers with the option to order online for delivery or click and collect, also available via the brand’s Instagram page.
Created by pâtissier Alix Andre and backed by restauranteur Ellen Chew’s Chew on This group, the brand’s debut space has been designed by their in house team to exude style and presents a minimalistic feel.
Co-Founder Chew commented, “We are very excited to launch our debut site. The Yards provides a perfect balance between a central London location and an unusual and charming escape that’s ideal for us to showcase our equally unique creations.”
