Mitre Linen launches First Defence Kit

A disappointing summer season places greater revenue demands on the impending Christmas period, as the hospitality sector try to recoup profits lost during 2020.

The British public are understandably hesitant to commit to bookings, with the latest CGA research highlighting that only 16% currently have plans to celebrate out of home.

Reassuring customers that their safety is your priority, is key, leading hospitality experts Mitre Linen to launch their First Defence Kit.

Kate Gough, Mitre Linen General Manager, explained, “Face coverings, hand sanitisers and social distancing are here to stay, certainly over the festive period, and our new First Defence Kit is the perfect way to show customers that you care about their safety.

The disposable face mask, hand wipes and hand sanitiser are presented as a single use kit that can be given or sold to guests in hotels, cafes or restaurants to ensure they have the necessary protective equipment to enjoy their visit with confidence.”

The new First Defence Kit contains a disposable, sterile face mask to create a secure barrier between the nose and mouth of the wearer and the surrounding environment. With comfortable elastic ear loops, the mask is easy to use and stays in position for maximum comfort and safety.

In addition, the pack also contains a personal hand gel sanitiser and two cleansing hand wipes.

Established in 1946, Mitre Linen is based in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales. Having provided the hospitality, leisure, education, healthcare and laundry industries with beautiful bed linen, bedding, towelling and soft furnishings for over 70 years, Mitre Linen has held HM The Queen’s Royal Warrant since 1955.
