£300k Bolton c-store acquired by first-time operator

Premier-branded convenience store in Bolton, Greater Manchester has been sold through Christie & Co, off an asking price of £300k.

The store occupies a prominent position along Chorley Old Road, an extremely busy and densely populated main road running through Bolton, boasting a high footfall and passing traffic.

The store is well fitted to a good standard, and produces an impressively high turnover, currently trading at over £30k in weekly sales.

The business, which has been sold as the seller wanted to pursue work in a different sector, has been purchased by Randeep Singh, his first convenience store.

Singh is very keen to hit the ground running and improve the store’s offering. and said, “We are delighted to take over the store and are excited to increase new lines and products to the site including hot food.'

James Moore-Martin, Director of Retail at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, said, “This high turnover convenience store achieves weekly sales of over £30,000 excluding services and garnered a strong amount of interest.

'Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, we have had a multitude of transactions complete at both ends of the market.”
